System Store Solutions Supports Motorsport's Future Engineers through the MIA School of Race Engineering (SoRE)

After confirming their partner sponsorship of the MIA's School of Race Engineering David Price M.D. of System Store Solutions spoke about why they are felt this was important to the company.

Our motorsport's design and installation team regularly meet and chat with the engineers we work with and our consultation and design service is very much based around creating improved working environments for the technicians, which in turn increases efficiency and gives work places to be proud of. For the client, the finish and quality of the installations also adds credible value to how their business is perceived outwardly.

Becoming a partner to the MIA's School is also important to System Store Solutions, to show that we are serious about what we do, whether this is working with the companies and teams in F1 or with those companies who provide the best car preparation and servicing for the classic and historic sectors. An engineer is a pivotal asset to any team or company and we believe that the MIA's RSoE provides a strong stepping stone for those in Higher Education who are moving into the sport and gaining the knowledge they need to be real assets to those they will work for within the motorsport sector.

What the MIA have put together is a very complete course where, not only will the students visit some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Lotus and Cosworth's, but also the experience gained in the workshop activities at the Autosport International Show in January 2013, provides a great snapshot to what is needed to be an engineer in top level motorsport. The fact that many of the attendee's in the past have settled within various prestigious motorsport and F1 teams, shows the value and work the MIA and the lecturers put into the course and how it is respected throughout the industry."
