COVENTRY will track both Szczepaniak brothers next season - after Mateusz agreed a deal to join Michal at Brandon. The Polish duo are set to start the campaign in the reserve berths for the Bees, Mateusz joining after achieving a near-five point average for Kings Lynn in 2012.Coventry promoter Mick Horton said: Its going to help Mateusz that his brother is here already. Michal is pretty dialled-in at Coventry and obviously with KK (Krzysztof Kasprzak) here as well theyll all be talking, and it will help us all. What I do like is that with Adam (Roynon) and Aaron (Summers) around, two of those four will be at reserve, and so now Im confident at the top and bottom end and now we need the third heat-leader to finish the team.

BIRMINGHAM have confirmed a Perry Barr return for popular Italian rider Nicolas Covatti next season. The Brummies moved for the 24-year-old back in August and he quickly became a firm favourite during the clubs charge to the Elite League play-offs. He has invested heavily in machinery by purchasing two of Hans Andersens 2012 Grand Prix bikes.Birmingham co-boss Phil Morris said: Nicolas will do a great job for us. Hes keen to learn, we want him at Birmingham and, most importantly, he wants to ride for the Brummies. In some ways it was a gamble bringing him over this year, but thankfully the gamble paid off handsomely for the club. We hope Nicolas will be a key part of the Brummies team for a long time to come.
