SOMERSET have completed their team with the signing of youngster Stefan Nielsen on loan from Scunthorpe. The Rebels moved for the talented 18-year-old after receiving confirmation that another target, Brady Kurtz, would not be granted partiality until his 17th birthday in late September.Promoter Debbie Hancock said: A number of other clubs were interested in signing Stefan, but from the first minute we spoke to him, it became clear that he wanted to join the Rebels, and we quickly agreed terms for him to join us on loan from Scunthorpe.Brady is committed to joining Somerset in 2014, when he should become an asset of the club. In fact, he is so keen to join us that he is coming over during the 2013 season just to be a part of the club and to get some laps in ahead of joining us for the 2014 campaign.

SWINDON co-promoter Gary Patchett has confirmed 2012 team member Jason Doyle will be racing elsewhere in the Elite League next year.Doyle has joined the Robins as a full asset in a swap deal which sees Maciej Janowski move to Poole, but the Australian will be loaned-out in 2013.Patchett said: Jason is very much a long-term investment, but wont be featuring for us next season. Now that he has agreed terms with Somerset it just isnt practical for us to use him, as the Rebels also have Nick Morris in their team. There are so many Friday night tracks in the Elite League that we would be forever scrabbling around for replacements.
