DATES and venues have been arranged for five rounds of the 2013 British Youth Championship.Meetings are confirmed for Leicester (May 12), Rye House (May 18), Eastbourne (July 14), Scunthorpe (July 28) and Northside (August 11) with at least one other venue to be announced, and a training day has been fixed for Buxton on April 2.The Young Lions management team of Phil Morris and Neil Vatcher would be delighted to hear from any British boys or girls who would like to complete in at least one of the events of the Youth Championship, who were under the age of 16 on the 1st January 2013, and who ride either 500, 250 or 125cc speedway bikes. WORLD No.2 Nicki Pedersen is the first name to be confirmed for Tomas Topinkas Farewell Meeting at Kings Lynn on March 8.Pedersen came close to a fourth Grand Prix title in 2012 and the event at his former home track will form part of his preparations for this years campaign starting in New Zealand.Topinka said: Nicki rode in my Testimonial in 2004 and I know the fans will be pleased to see him racing at Kings Lynn again.We also worked together last season as I was manager of Prague in the Czech Extraleague and Nicki helped us to win the title. Its great that hes agreed to do the meeting.
