New look for Morgan's Ciceley Racing Avensis

Ciceley Racing has unveiled the colours which its Toyota Avensis BTCC car will carry into battle this season as Adam Morgan bids to continue his impressive progress in the worlds most competitive touring car series.

The striking blue, orange and black livery features the logo of leading north-west England Mercedes-Benz truck and van dealership Ciceley Commercials Ltd. The colour scheme will, its driver believes, help the Avensis be a stand-out car on the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship grid.

The Toyota has just returned from the paintshop and the metallic blue base colour looks absolutely stunning, said Adam. I cant wait to see how the finished car will look.

Morgan will not have long to wait: work on the chassis is well underway at Ciceley Racings Lancashire base and the team hopes to be out testing before the end of February.

The aim is to get the Toyota ready well before the season starts so we can get out testing, says Adam. We have 90 per cent of the parts assembled already and the build is going well.

Additional backing for the teams touring car campaign comes from Fuchs Titan Race, PM+M, ModelZed, Snickers Workwear, Graphix and White Wave Web Solutions.

Twenty-four-year-old Morgan was one of 2012s quickest newcomers to the BTCC, having won his drive through victory in the 2011 Ginetta Supercup and a scholarship prize. Adam endured a tough rookie season in the UKs premier race series, but established himself as a quick qualifier - his average grid slot for the year was 11th - and he collected his first championship points mid-season, going on to finish inside the top 10 in four races.

The opening rounds of the 2013 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship are scheduled for Easter Sunday (31 March) at Brands Hatch.
