With two months to go before the start of the season, the SUPERSTARS world is lining-up at Adria for a collective round of testing hosted by SUPERSTARS World Of Racing. The cars will be on-track on the 8th of February, allowing the teams to evaluate their technical and human resources for the 2013 season.
Returning stars and new additions will be joining the field. BMW-powered Scuderia Giudici will line-up former F1 racer Alessandro Nannini, a world-famous racing veteran who raced for Minardi and Benetton, and World Touring Car ace Stefano D'Aste.
Many deals are currently being negotiated, especially regarding young drivers. The freshest face will be 20-year-old Matteo Davenia, coming from the European F.3 Open championship. He'll be behind the wheel of a Team BMW Dinamic-prepared BMW M3, and will line-up alongside Giovanni Berton, who made a stunning SUPERSTARS breakthrough in late 2012.
Three drivers are joining fellow BMW team RGA Motorsport starting from 20-year-old and former open-wheel racer Christian Mancinelli. He will be partnered by Christian Pigionanti and Aldo Taddeo. PRS NOS Racing is set to field three Audi RS4 racers, two of them for Alessandro Kouzkin and Nello Nataloni.
Several GTSPRINT teams are also expected like Autorlando Sport with a GT3 Porsche and Scuderia Giudici with a Ginetta and a Lotus Evora. More entries will be confirmed in the coming days.
During the evening, the Adria circuit will also be hosting the 2012 SPORTING AWARDS. The whole SUPERSTARS WORLD paddock will join the 2012 SUPERSTARS and GTSPRINT INTERNATIONAL SERIES prize giving ceremony and gala dinner.
