Tech1 Racing unveils Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS 2013 plans

AND ANNOUNCES CHUDLEIGH, ORUDZHEV AND TARANOV

For the third consecutive year Tech1 Racing confirms its involvement in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS, announcing three of the drivers with which it will join the 2013 season. After having seized the championship in 2011 with the Spanish Javier Tarancon and the Team Title last year, the French Team is now ready for a new challenging season unveiling its aces.

Racing in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS with Tech1 Racing colors will be the two Russian Egor Orudzhev (who will have a double schedule racing also in the Eurocup) and Ivan Taranov, and young 17 y/o Luke Chudleigh from Canada.Orudzhev, 17 ,, is at his second year in the Fast Lane Promotion championship that will line-up with the updated 2 lttr. singleseater cars, having made his debut last year at the Mugello venue. 18 y/oTaranov,  raced in 2012 in the F.Renault 2.0 Italia.Chudleigh, has consistent karting experience from the other side of the Atlantic and 2013 will be his first year in cars.

We chose for Egor Orudzhev a double schedule in Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS and in Eurocup to allow him to quickly gain experience comparing to Taranov. For Chudleigh it will be debut time, but the goals achieved in karting allow us to believe he will soon be among the top protagonists of the Championship. - commented Simon Abadie, Tech1 Racing team manager.
