Four NASCAR venues pen pre-season deals

Ahead of the start of the new Nascar season, several race venues have confirmed new sponsorships over the past week.Mortgage lender Quicken Loans is to sponsor June's Sprint Cup event at Michigan International Speedway, a race which last year saw fan favourite Dale Earnhardt Jr. break a 143-race losing streak. The deal will complement Quicken Loans sponsorship of the Stewart-Haas Racing team.Phoenix International Speedway, meanwhile, has confirmed that Dollar General and AmeriGas will sponsor the Natiownide Series race there in March. The event will officially be known as the 'Dollar General 200 Fueled by AmeriGas'.Dollar Generals Nascar participation is a key element in connecting with our customers and we are excited to partner with AmeriGas in Phoenix, said Rick Dreiling, Dollar General's chairman and chief executive.

Rockingham Motor Speedway has signed a sponsor for its Truck Series race in April. North Carolina Education Lottery will be title sponsor of the event, which was last year attended by over 30,000 people.Were a sales organisation and just like other sales companies, we depend on marketing events to support our mission; raising money for education in North Carolina," said Alice Garland, the sales director of the lottery."Lottery players and racing fans alike enjoy the entertainment and excitement of racing. So with this partnership, well increase our sales and share with thousands of race fans the benefits the lottery provides to our state.Finally, the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has announced Diamond Cellar will be the title sponsor of June's Grand-Am event, part of a deal which will see the company become the official jeweler of the venue.
