Glauco Solieri takes on GTSprint GTS3 challenge with Autorlando Sport with a Porsche 997 GT3 R

Glauco Solieri is set for his fourth season in the GTSPRINT INTERNATIONAL SERIES. The Bologna-based racer has been one of the most competitive entries in the championship since its inception, and he's ready to be back under the Porsche banner for 2013.

Autorlando Sport and Solieri decided to extend their partnership to the upcoming season after having ended up the 2012 series as a runner-up in the GTS2 category, behind Ferrari's Andrea Palma, and third overall.

For 2013, Orlando Redolfi and his team will be lining-up a Porsche 997 GT3 R, which is set to be fully-upgraded to the its latest spec with a specific kit coming from Stuttgart. In our world, GTSPRINT has established itself as a benchmark - told Solieri - I saw this championship come to light in 2010 and I think it's still unparalleled in terms of driver rosters and media value. On the other hand, Autorlando is my family. This season we decided to line-up in the GTS3 class because it's going to be the most successful category in the future. I entered last December's Bomboogie GT Challenge at the Bologna Motor Show with this car and I managed to win against some top opponents. I hope to repeat the same kind of results in GTSPRINT. The 997 GT3 is very sophisticated and exciting to drive and we're planning to upgrade it before Monza. I'm currently busy with my physical training, because I will be driving for 60 minutes per race alone and the class title is my prime goal.
