Michelin extends its Sebring sponsorship

Tyre manufacturer Michelin has extended its sponsorship deal with the Sebring International Raceway in Florida for another year.

The company has a branded bridge at turn 17 of the racetrack and will use it to promote a new tyre at the Twelve Hours of Sebring race from 13th to 16th March.

The racetrack, which opened in 1950, is currently hosting Indycar testing ahead of the new season."The fans at Sebring know and appreciate total performance and that is exactly what the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 delivers for enthusiasts and their own vehicles," said Don Byrd, vice president, marketing, Michelin Americas Small Tires, referencing his company's new product.

"The turn 17 bridge linking the pit and paddock area to the infield and the fans is the ideal visual link connecting our Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tyre's endurance racing technology to consumers."
