THE final round of this years British Youth Championship will take place at Sittingbourne on Sunday September 8.The Iwade venue completes the schedule for the six-round series, with an under-16 training day also arranged for Buxton on April 2.British Youth co-boss Phil Morris said: We would like to go on record to thank the members at Sittingbourne for helping us to arrange this fixture, and it's a venue that the Youth Riders have enjoyed going to for the last two seasons. With over 40 riders already signed up, it looks as if the 2013 series is going to be the biggest to date. We are excited about getting the season started, and the feedback that we have had thus far is the riders all feel the same way.We are keen to add to the numbers, so if any boys or girls who were under-16 on January 1, 2013 would like to compete in the Youth Championships, whether its just the training day or one or all six rounds of the British Championship, and have either a 125, 250 or 500cc speedway bike, they can contact us at younglionsspeedway@hotmail.co.uk.BRITISH YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP: Leicester (May 12), Rye House (May 18), Eastbourne (July 14), Scunthorpe (July 28), Northside (Aug 11), SittingbourneIwade (Sept 8).(SPEEDWAY 2)
