New chance for Drivex and Gonda in Jerez F3 Open

Drivex will take part in the second meeting of the European F3 Open Winter Series at Circuito de Jerez with the young Slovakian Richard Gonda.

Gonda debuted behind the wheel of the Dallara F308 at Paul Ricard, showing a clear improving performance over the course of the sessions but, unfortunately, his progress was stopped when an electrical problem forced him to retire on the very first lap. Now Gonda approaches a new challenge because he has never raced there but, after his experience with the F3 in France, his adaptation to the car will be faster. Meanwhile Drivex has intensively worked on the car during to arrive to Jerez with full guarantee of success.

On Friday there are scheduled four test sessions, meaning almost four hours on track for them, and then on Saturday there will be a fifth early in the morning (9.00). Then this second day qualifying starts at 11.20 and race (18 laps) at 15.00.

Richard Gonda: Im looking forward to test at Jerez. I havent raced there yet, but I believe that I will accustom to the track easily and I hope that everything will pass well, during this weekend and we can bring some good results. In point of the driving in the F3, I really liked it at Paul Ricard, it was easy for me to sit into the car and drive, the only one thing I was getting used to it longer was the functioning of the brakes, besides that I really enjoyed driving in the F3.

Miguel ngel de Castro: Richard will be our driver again. In spite of he doesnt know the track, at least now he has gained experience with the F3 car, absolutely unknown for him at Paul Ricard. There he couldnt show his real pace in race due to electrical problems, but were working to give him the best possible car here. Were eying good results in Jerez.
