Round 2: Golden Springs, 3 March

Duncan Stephens made it two wins from two events with victory on the Golden Springs car trial to extend his championship lead.

Stephens slowly extended his lead despite making a couple of mistakes, having never driven his borrowed Nissan Micra before.

Multiple former champion Barrie Parker shared a Renault Clio with Mike Jones, the championship co-ordinator, who was back competing after a 20-year break. Jones led Parker into the last round until a clipped post dropped him behind.
