MSA English Rally Championship

Reigning Champions Julian Wilkes and co-driver Will Rutherford fended off Mat Smith and Giles Dykes to score maximum points in Class E2 and move into the championship lead.

Nineteen-year-old Alex Parpottas (Fiesta R2) won the up to 1600cc class to take maximum points in Class E3, while 18-year-old former MSA Academy member Aaron McClure and Tom Woodburm (Ford Fiesta ST) scored maximum points in Class E4.

In contrast the vastly experienced Peter Smith and Patrick Walsh (Ford Escort Mk1) scored maximum points in Class E5. Perhaps the best result of the day came from Slovenias Marko Jaramcurrently living in the UK and working at M-Sportwho finished two minutes ahead of his nearest rivals.
