Round 2: Mid Wales Stages, 3 March

Alex Allingham and his new co-driver Chris Williams mastered the Mid Wales Stages to kick off their 2013 campaign with a win.

The pair arrived at the finish one minute ahead of North Wales crew Luke Francis and John Roberts. Bob Ceen and Andy Bull had started as favourites and led early on, only to suffer turbo failure on SS3.

Keith Parry and Eryl Evans took the final podium spot after resisting a late charge by Kevin Rowledge and Andrew Bargery. Meanwhile Sara Williams and Dai Roberts were slowed by a puncture, and Wug and Max Utting retired on the run out from Newtown.
