Sky Sports followed Daily Mail columnist Des Kelly and Sky Sports News F1 expert Tony Jardine on their epic adventure to northern Lapland, where they tried to make it third time lucky and finish the punishing Arctic Lapland Rally.
Pitted against the expert Scandinavians, Russians and Latvians, the Sky Sports documentary airing tonight, Tuesday 05 March at 19:00 on Sky Sports 4 Digital (channel 404), sees how the only British crew in the rally fare in minus 30 degrees centigrade, while battling the savage beauty of the desolate Arctic tundra where survival training is necessary in case of breakdown and concentration vital in the white out effect of the forest snow walls.
From the Autosport show to the recce and testing in the icy wilds, the programme, shot and edited by CircuitPro, using action footage from Finlands Videoflash and with graphics by Breakfast of Champions, captures the speed, adventure and sheer exhilaration created by the wonderland that is Lapland.
