Successful first test for Wrathall and Morgan

Toyota BTCC independents Frank Wrathall and Adam Morgan gained valuable track mileage yesterday at Donington Park, shaking down their Avensis touring cars for the first time well ahead of their first competitive outings, scheduled for Brands Hatch at the end of the month.

Wrathall, whose Dynojet Racing Toyota was turning its wheels for the first time since its October victory at Brands Hatch, reported that it felt good out of the box.

Morgans Ciceley Racing-prepared Avensis was sporting interim front and rear bodywork and performed soundly on its first circuit visit. Overall, Im quite happy with how the day has gone, said Adam. We had no major dramas and it was great to get back out on track, as I havent been in a car since the final round of the season at Brands Hatch last year.

Both Dynojet and Ciceley Racing plan to test again todayat Rockingham.
