Riccardo Agostini completed two-days GP2 Series testing this week in Barcelona with Hilmer, the team linked to JD Motorspor with whom the Padua-based racer claimed the 2012 Italian F3 title.

For Agostini it was the opportunity to familiarize himself with the 2013 car set-up and the new Pirelli tyres. Riccardo did a great job. During the last session, on Thursday, Conor Daly took over his place.

The goal for these tests was to get more confidence with the category in view of the 2014 commitment in GP2. Agostini this year will race in the Auto GP Championship for the MP Motorsport Team. The first event of the season is scheduled in two weeks, the 23rd and 24th of March, at the Monza track.
