Round 1: The Jon MacKenzie Autotests, 10 March

Stephen Morten took his first Fastest Time of the Day (FTD) after snatching victory from Roger Holder on the penultimate test of the event.

Ian Chapman produced a strong final run to finish off the podium just 2.1 seconds adrift. Lee Valentine was the top saloon, winning class B in fourth overall aboard his Nova.

Gavin Dickson was quickly back on the pace on his return to the sport, ending the day in seventh overall. Meanwhile Howard Everingham won the Mini class from Rob Rolston, and in class E Road Going Cars Duncan Stephens romped home ahead of Kevin Hardwick and Mike Biss.
