2013 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS season preview

Less than a month to the first of the seven double venues of 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS season that will fire up the engines in Vallelunga on the 6/7 April weekend.

Less than ten days  for the testing sessions set up on the same track on Thursday 21st of March when most of the drivers involved in this year Fast Lane Promotion series will wear their racing suites, although those drivers involved in the Eurocup F.Renault 2.0 - to whom extra testing sessions are forbidden - will be absent.

While the first green light is approaching fast, the last places on the grid are being filled with a top quality international lineup.

There will be 13 teams from five different countries. Eight will be the Italian ones with the confirmed Brixia Horse Power by Facondini, BVM Racing, GSK Grand Prix, Prema, Team Torino Motorsport, and Viola Formula Racing, to whom Euronova Racing and TS Corse will be added this year.

The French Arta Engineering and Tech1 Racing are confirmed as well as the Austrianian team Interwetten,the Finnish team Koiranen Motorsport and the Swiss Jenzer Motorsport.

The season opener also sees the debut of the new updated car with the latest Tatuus kit

The calendar will have 14 races in seven double venues on prestigious tracks starting from Vallelunga to Imola (12th May), going to Belgium, in the breathtaking scenario of Spa-Francorchamps (9th June), Monza (7th July), Misano (28th July), Mugello (8th September) and once more Imola (6th October). On the top there will be the media coverage with the live web streaming of all events and the wifi free access in the paddock for teams and their guests.
