Facu Regalia finished his first test day at Circuit de Catalunya yesterday, the track hosting the second collective test for GP3. After a rainy morning reduced track time, the Argentine driver was 6th fastest with his ART Grand Prix car in the afternoon..
Regalia, managed by former Formula 1 driver Adrin Campos, completed forty-one laps , 10th quickest in the morning session with a lap of 1:35.845, the new ART Grand Prix driver emerged as one of the fastest in the afternoon - first for a while - finally he finished 6th setting a time of 1:34.943, three tenths slower than the driver in P1.
It was a good day, because we have had a good pace, just like at Estoril. In the morning we couldnt complete as many laps as wanted but then, in the afternoon, we were able to test different set-up solutions. With our first set of tires I posted P1 time, Regalia explained, adding that then with the second set we made a few changes to solve a minor oversteer problem. We improved our previous time, but not enough to keep P1. Anyway I feel happy with results here. Were working very well because, always in good positions in the rankings. Tomorrow well keep working in the same way, and aiming for finishing in front.
Instead of three test days like Estoril, Barcelona has scheduled just two finishing today.
