MSA British Sporting Trials Championship

Round 4: Peter Blankstone, 17 March

Ian Bell won a challenging Peter Blankstone sporting trial at the picturesque Shelsley Walsh hill climb venue.

Bell led all day with some extremely committed driving in slippery conditions to build up a six-point lead over Duncan Stephens. Roland Uglow, in second place at the lunch break, slipped to third overall.

Reigning British champion Tom Bricknell, who had flown in from Switzerland for the trial, finished in sixth place. A delighted Barry Hogg won the Intermediate class, while Richard Thomas won the Novice class
