The winning partnership between Pirtek and Eurotech Racing has been extended until at least the end of 2015 following the signing of a fresh agreement covering title sponsorship for 2014 and 2015.Andrew Jordan, Jeff Smith and Eurotech Racing will represent Pirtek Racing in this years Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship when Andrew plans to challenge for the overall title in the most prestigious and competitive race championship in Britain.But even before the 2013 season has started, Pirtek confirmed title backing for the team for another two seasons. Pirtek has been the teams title sponsor since 2009, so the partnership is set to run for at least seven seasons.We are delighted and very proud to announce the signing of an extension to our contract with Pirtek UK Ltd, said team boss Mike Jordan. The original agreement was in place until the end of 2013, but that has now been extended to the end of 2015.Jordan says that the extension of the Pirtek deal is great news for the team. It gives us a huge foundation from which to carry on building our team, he said. We want to challenge the big three in the BTCC: Team Dynamics, 888 and WSR and contend for the outright title. We have been in BTCC since 2006 and have quietly worked our way forward to get to this position.The timing of this announcement is fitting as Eurotech starts its 25th anniversary season of racing, having been initially set up in 1989. The team has a long history of success, with championship wins in rallycross, Porsches and the British GT Championship through to the highlight victory in the 2012 BTCC Independents Trophy.The team also has a long history of working with major corporate partners on a long-term basis. John Guest joined us in 1995 and are still on board now, while Pirtek started in 2004 as a front wing sponsor on our Porsche GT car, said Jordan.
