Redline unveils Porsche Carrera Cup GB squad

Redline Racing has unveiled a six-car squad for this years Porsche Carrera Cup GB, headed by Pro category drivers and championship newcomers Dean Stoneman and Dan De Zille.Victor Jimenez (Spain) and Yucel Ozbek (Turkey) both return for another season in the Carrera Cup GB and will commute from their home countries for each race weekend to contest the Pro-Am1 category.New to the championship will be South African racer Kyle Barnes, who will join the Redline Racing squad in the Pro-Am1 category. The 20-year old from Gauteng has been a front-runner in the Volkswagen Cup in South Africa and tested with Redline at Brands Hatch last month. Kyle is doing Brands Hatch with a view to contesting the rest of the season, said Redline team boss Simon Leonard. Meanwhile, Keith Webster will complete the line-up, but will be forced to miss the opening two races at Brands Hatch this weekend (30/31 March) after being knocked off his bicycle close to his home last week. He has a broken bone in his arm, but hopes to be fit to rejoin the championship for rounds three and four at Donington Park on 20/21 April.
