4545 meters through walls, long straights and artificial chicanes: this weekend the next challenge of the Auto GP championship (April 5-6-7) will be raced at Marrakech, the second of the eight doubles venues of the 2013 Season.
It will be the first experience for Riccardo Agostini on a street circuit, after the successful late March debut in the Colonis Series at Monza, where he scored a pole and a 5th position in a wet Race 2.
In Monza, the young MP Motorsport Team driver showed everyone his strength, gaining experience and scoring important points, even if having previously completed only two days of testing with the new 3.4-litre single seater.
The best response in the qualifying, with more than half a second margin over the second, then a 7th position in Race 1 and a 5th in Race 2 (although a plastic cone got stuck between the arms of the right front suspension, compromising the set-up of the car), can be considered an excellent debut.
In Marrakech the challenge will start on Friday with the free practice and the qualifying. Race 1 is scheduled on Saturday from 12.15am CET and Race 2 on Sunday from 12:35am CET, all broadcasted live on TV by Eurosport.
