Chevron Cars Ltd announce event and driver line-up for 2013

Chevron Cars Limited, owned by businessman David Witt, announces its much awaited event calendar and driver line-up for 2013.

Featuring 11 confirmed race weekends to-date, including participation in the GT Cup Championship and MSA British Endurance Championship, the teams schedule is also due to involve selected rounds of the British GT Championship later in the season.

Jordan Witt will be driving the highly developed and tested Chevron GT3, teaming up with GT racer Marcus Clutton in British Endurance. Meanwhile, former British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and Le Mans star Anthony Reid rejoins the team and will be taking charge of the Chevron GT4, pairing up with Ray Grimes or David Witt in all two-driver races.

Chevron Cars will also be attending and competing at the three-day Cholmondeley Pageant of Power (14-16 June) in Cheshire, returning to the celebrated Goodwood Festival of Speed (11-14 July), and debuting the Chevron GT3 at CarFest North (02-04 August).

In 2013, outside of the domestic GT scene, the British marque is planning to venture into Europe for the Dutch Supercar Challengedetails of which will be announced ahead of the Summer.

David Witt commented: We have been regular customers at Anglesey over the Winter months, rigorously testing the Chevron GT, GT3 and GT4. This season weve planned a busy calendar for the team, which provides a good combination of sprint and endurance racing across various seriesand includes appearances at all the iconic British festivals of motor sport.

Im delighted to confirm that Anthony [Reid] is back on board with Chevron, and was out testing the GT4 with us last week at Oulton Park. Between our lead drivers Jordan [Witt] and Anthony, we are confident that we can challenge for the GT Cup and British Endurance titles this year.
