Cowne returns to GT3 Cup Challenge GB with Parr

2012 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge GB Class Two runner-up Mark Cowne will return to the championship for a full season with Parr Motorsport in 2013. Cowne, owner of the Kruger Cowne talent agency, started racing last year in a 996-model 911GT3 Cup before purchasing a Class One 997. Mark made the decision to move over to Parr Motorsport in time for the second half of the season and really began to find his stride with the new car. Im delighted to be racing again with Parr Motorsport, said Cowne. The help and support they gave me during my first year in 2012 was immeasurable. Working closely with the team will greatly help me progress with my driving skills and hopefully enable me to reach a higher position in the championship this year. Its great that Mark is continuing with us for 2013, said Parr team boss Paul Robe. His 2012 season was a bit disjointed, running different cars with different teams, but now hell have a platform on which he can build and gain consistency. Were looking forward to working with him again and were hoping for a competitive year.Cowne is confident that the stability of running with one team in a car he now knows and on tracks that he has driven before will only help his progress.
