SET TO BEAT ALL RECORDS...The Spring Performance Car Action Day at Castle Combe Circuit this Saturday 27th April 2013 is set to beat all Action Day records as 115 Owner's Clubs have already booked in with over 1500 performance display cars. The event has traditionally always been one of the busiest days within the Castle Combe Circuit events calendar as thousands of performance carenthusiasts travel to the international race circuit from all over the country.Marketing and Events Manager, Jo Sparrow, confirmed: "We are absolutely delighted with the pre-sales for the Spring Performance Car Action Day with Owner's Clubs coming from all over the country and from as far afield as Lancashire, East Sussex, the West Midlands and Devon."There are record numbers of Owner's Clubs booked in and we're now just hoping for some lovely weather to get record numbers of visitors too.Admission tickets can be purchased on the day and we also have some track sessions still available if people want to try out their cars on theinternational race circuit. Sessions last 15 minutes and give you a great opportunity to get out on the track with like-minded enthusiasts.Everyone is given a full track briefing before they are allowed out and cars must meet our strict sound regulations. All is pretty self-explanatory onthe day."Gates for the event open at 7am when Owner's Clubs are welcome to arrive and start their site build. There are a couple of competitions that run through the day with 'Best Car in Show' and 'Best Club Stand' and Owner's Clubs are encouraged to go that extra mile to make their area and cars really stand out from the crowd.
Jo Sparrow confirmed: "The joy of this event is the sheer effort that you can see from so many Owner's Clubs as they really make their area sparkleand shine. We're hoping for bunting, flags and banners and quite often see the odd 'Scooby Doo' cuddly as the Scoobies Car Clubs bring along their ever popular mascot to lend a hand to their area. Add in the dedicated Trade Area and this really is performance car heaven for motoring enthusiasts!"Castle Combe Circuit runs four Action Days during the year. The Spring Performance Car Action Day and the Forge Motorsport Action Day are both dedicated to performance car action whilst the June event celebrates all things Classic and Retro. The MiniWorld Action Day is the last Action Day of the season and always brings out the crowds for the ever popular little car.
