Long-serving speedway sponsors Fogo Generators have agreed a title sponsorship for the 2013 British FIM Speedway Grand Prix for the second year running.

Round five of the world championship FIM Speedway Grand Prix (SGP) series will be held on June 1 at the iconic Millennium Stadium in Cardiff and will now be known as the 2013 Fogo British FIM Speedway Grand Prix.

This will be Fogo Generators' second title sponsorship of the season after the Fogo Swedish FIM Speedway Grand Prix event on May 4.

Paul Bellamy, managing director of SGP series rights holders BSI Speedway, is delighted to have Fogo Generators on board again this year.

He said: It is great to have Fogo sponsoring the flagship event of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix series. To have a large Polish company sponsoring such an event shows they recognise the world-wide appeal of the World Championship.

"They also realise the benefits this association brings including the expansive television broadcast distribution, branding and hospitality opportunities.
