Dickies continues sponsorship of British superbike legend Chris Walker

Dickies was delighted to have sponsored Chris Walker during 2012both for his racing activities and to supply the British race aces track and off-road schools with clothing.

Following on from a successful first season together, the worlds leading independent workwear company has reached agreement with The Stalker for a personal British Superbike deal for the 2013 season on the Quattro Plant Kawasaki, as well as an ongoing deal for clothing for Chriss school.

Chris is a legend in British bike racing circles, comments Maurice Morton, and his track school and motocross schools reflect his passion for the sport and his commitment to helping others. Its great to be back with him again this season, he is a fantastic ambassador for the brand!

At 41, Chris is one of the elder statesmen of British Superbikes, but his enthusiasm for the sport remains undimmed and he is as competitive as ever, proving this by achieving three top ten finishes in the opening two rounds of the 2013 MSE BSB series at Brands Hatch and at Thruxton. Chris currently lies seventh in the championship, and would be even higher up the rankings, if he hadnt had a mechanical problem in the first Thruxton race, which caused his retirement when running solidly in the top five.

Im delighted to be continuing the partnership with Dickies again this season, enthuses Chris. Its a fantastic brand to be associated with and its brilliant to see a company like this coming into bike racing and committing itself to the sport. Hopefully, together well achieve some great results in BSB.

Dickies is also an official supplier to the MSE BSB Championship, providing safety overalls and jackets to all of the Marshals in the series.

Dickies is also title sponsor for the next British Superbike round. The Oulton Park meeting is to be known as The Dickies British Superbike Weekend.
