Tamas Pal Kiss to enter Auto GP race in Budapest

Auto GP will welcome a new driver in this weekend's Budapest race. Local driver Tamas Pal Kiss, born in Miskolic on May the 19th, 1991, will be joining the championship, managed by Enzo Coloni, behind the wheel of a MLR71-prepared car alongside Michele La Rosa. Pal Kiss will enter Friday's test session in order to familiarize with the 550-horsepower Zytek engine before lining-up in qualifying and in the races. Both races are scheduled for next Sunday at the Hungaroring venue.

Tamas Pal Kiss: "I want to thank the Auto GP organisation and MLR71 for giving me the chance to race at Budapest,  which is my home race and one of my favourite tracks. I know I will have to work hard to re-adapt myself to an high-power car as I haven't been driving one in the last month. The Hungarian fans will be providing a great support though and I hope to reward them with some good results".

Michele La Rosa: "Pal Kiss will join us without having driven an Auto GP car before but, on the other hand,  he knows the track very well as he basically grew up there as he's from Hungary. MLR71 will provide him with all the team's professionalism to suit him in the best possible way.  We are sure that we will be able to aim at some good results together".

Enzo Coloni: "Tamas has been racing open-wheel cars for several years and I'm sure he has the experience needed to come to Auto GP and be a good performer straight out of the box. Having a fan-favourite driver on the grid is also very important for us so the local  media and fan attention will be directed to our series too".
