Andrea Larini seeks fresh glory at Brno

SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES - ITALIAN-BASED RACER SET TO LINE-UP AT BRNO (MAY THE 19th) WITH AN UPGRADED JAGUAR XFR RACER

After becoming one of the top names of the SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES in 2012, Andrea Larini lined-up in the  series' 2013 opener at Monza behind the wheel of a Jaguar XFR, sporting an extremely cool matte livery that captivated the looks of the many fans on-track.

The Tuscany-based racer is part of a famous motorsports family including racers like his father "Dedo" (a touringcar champion back in the 1970s) and his brother Nicola (a former Formula 1 and Ferrari driver). Andrea lived up to his namesake by building a great roll of honour in single-make racing and in rallying, where he made an outstanding debut with a win in the Viareggio Rally at the age of 20.

Signed by Team Ferlito, Larini left a very strong impression aboard the British-powered racecar. After ending up into the top-10 in Race 1, he took-off from the pole in Race 2. Unfortunately, he was forced to let the works-supported Mercedes cars of Biagi and Liuzzi go before retiring with technical issues.

The Jaguar has a very high potential - told Larini - even though Mercedes proved almost unbeatable at Monza. We have made some improvements to the engine and set-up of our XFR for Brno and I look forward to be a frontrunner there. As happened last year, I will focus my efforts race by race, it's so early to draw balances and talk about expectations. It's really important to be always ready to capitalize and push to the limit!"
