Christian Klien to race Scuderia Giudici-prepared BMW M3 E92 in Superstars

TEAM PRINCIPAL GIANNI GIUDICI AIMS FOR MAIDEN SUPERSTARS WIN

Next week's SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES round at Brno is set to feature plenty of excitement. After announcing the comeback of Fabrizio Giovanardi, who will drive a Porsche Panamera for Team Petri Corse, the series is proud to welcome back former F.1 racer Christian Klien, who will be running aboard a Scuderia Giudici-prepared BMW M3 E92.

Coming from Austria, Klien made his SUPERSTARS debut last season by scoring a great debut win in Race 2 at the Hungaroring. After racing aboard a Swiss Team Maserati Quattroporte, he will be changing office for the upcoming round at Brno, Czech Republic, on May 19th.

The Italian squad, based in Abbiategrasso and headed by Gianni Giudici, will be providing Klien with a well-performing BMW M3 E92 - the Bavarian machinery is expected to be a performer at the Czech venue.

I'm very happy to be back to the Superstars International Series - said Christian Klien - the Brno venue is a very technical one and also pretty suitable for the BMW M3 E92 racecar I will be driving for Team Giudici. I know the car's potential and the team's professionalism. Last year with the Maserati I put on a great fight with Norbert Michelisz at the Hungaroring, and he was driving the same M3 I will be racing in Czech Republic. So I hope to provide the fans with the same kind of excitement. I'm going to try and establish myself at the top of the pack but it won't be easy. There are many top contenders and the competition is quite tight. Thanks to their 4-wheel drive system, the Audi racers will be the most concerning opponents especially considering the track's layout. On the other hand, I think that the nimble BMW should also be quick. Although it will be the first time for me at Brno, I will give 100% like last year in Hungary in order to get back in the game and have some serious fun.

Klien will be available - as well as his opponents - at the SUPERSTARS paddock show where fans will be able to meet with their favourite drivers. The fans at home will be able to follow the Race of Czech Republic thanks to a massive worldwide coverage including 61 countries where Race 1 and 2 will be broadcasted live. The two races will be starting at 12.00 and 16.10.
