Round 2: Rowrah, 6 May

Newly crowned O Plate champion Jonny Edgar stormed to a first final victory at the Rowrah but suffered engine failure on the formation lap of the second final, leaving Oliver York to win.

Edgar nipped past Alex Quinn to take the lead in the first final, with Quinn later pipped for second by Lewis Thompson. Tom Wood from the front row had come off at the first hairpin, but roared back to third in the second final.

York won the second final after trading the lead with Quinn following Edgars demise. Going down the back straight I put a wheel on the wet bit and Alex went by, he said.
