A veteran in the GTSPRINT INTERNATIONAL SERIES, Glauco Solieri made an outstanding comeback to victory in front of 26.000 fans at Brno as he prevailed in a photo-finish to bring Autorlando Sport and the Porsche brand back to victory.While he ended up 7th in Race 1, Solieri did not miss a beat in Race 2, and after having cruised to the lead after the mandatory pit-stop, he kept the charging Ferrari 458 GTS2 of Alexander Talkanitsa Jr. at bay by just 26 thousands of a second. The final lap was heart-stopping as the AF Corse Belarusian tried multiple attacks on Solieri; who kept smart lines and resisted a last-gasp dive to the checkered flag to take his first win of the season.“Being back to victory in GTSPRINT has been extremely exciting," said Solieri. "I have always believed in this series as proven by my long-time commitment started in 2010. Two years ago I switched to the Porsche camp with Autorlando and that's been one of the best moves I could do and, as I said before,  beating Ferrari has always been my primary goal. This time we won but it hasn't been easy, but I would have never allowed them to pass. The season is long and although my opponents are quick and strong, we'll do 100% to be among the frontrunners all the time”.
