Tickets for Event 2 of the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup at Kings Lynn on July 15 are now on sale, and fans can save up to 25 percent if they book before June 30.
The Norfolk Arenaregarded as one of the sports great race tracksplays host to a galaxy of FIM Speedway Grand Prix and other international stars as Team Great Britain tackle 2012 World Champions Denmark, Sweden and the USA.
New British champion Tai Woffindencurrently second in the individual World Championshipis set to lead the Lions charge. The likes of triple world champion Nicki Pedersen and Kings Lynn No.1 Niels-Kristian Iversen are likely to start for Denmark.
The Swedish side could feature the likes of Andreas Jonsson, Freddie Lindgren and Antonio Lindback, while the USAs double world champion Greg Hancock makes a rare appearance in the UK to lead a team managed by 1996 world champion Billy Hamill.
BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy believes fans are in for a great night out as the four nations fight for a place in the Monster Energy SWC Final in Czech capital Prague on July 20, while the countries in second and third enter the Race Off at the Marketa Stadium on July 18.
He said: British speedway is on a real high following Tai Woffindens victory at the Mitas Czech SGP in Prague and he will be determined to lead the Lions out in the Monster Energy SWC Final there. He cannot do it alone, but Im sure Tais FIM Speedway Grand Prix success will inspire his fellow Brits to step up for Team GB.
With the Danes desperate to defend the Ove Fundin Trophy, Sweden keen to make up for a disappointing night in the 2012 Final and the USA determined to spoil the party for the Europeans, were in for a great night of racing for the whole family.
Adult standing tickets are available for a discounted 15 until June 30, while OAPs and under-15 tickets are 10. A family standing ticketgiving two adults and two under-15s entrycosts 35 (up to June 30 only).
