Lime Rock Park Historic Festival, 31 Race Groups Announced

The Chairman of Lime Rock Parks Historic Festival 31, Murray Smith, today published the race group titles and descriptions for the August 30September 2 vintage racing event. More than 300 historic cars are due to compete.This year Lime Rock Park is celebrating the "birthdays" of iconic cars and marques. Historic Festival 31 celebrates the anniversaries of Aston Martin, now 100 years old; a reunion of the Cunningham marque at 60 years old (Smith says to expect an unprecedented array); the Corvette, also 60; the Porsche 911, introduced 50 years ago; as well as the Lotus Elan's 50th.
