Chevron Cars Limited had the Chevron GT4 finishing in the points, and setting the fastest lap in its class at Rockingham (01 June), in the third round of the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship.
Anthony Reid and Ray Grimes shared the driving of the Chevron GT4 for the three-hour race, and brought the car home in sixth place. Meanwhile, Jordan Witt and Marcus Clutton finished eighth in the Chevron GT3 after having to start from the back of the grid.
David Witt, owner of Chevron Cars Limited, commented: Jordan got the GT3 up to second place during the race which was fantastic, but then it was disappointing for us as an alternator failure meant we couldnt maintain this position.
However, we are pleased to have earned more championship points with the Chevron GT4 finishing sixth, and the feedback from our drivers is that the handling of the cars is incredible.
We look forward to Chevrons next outing which will be at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, which is held on the Cholmondeley Estate not too far from where our workshop is based in Crewe.
Dont miss the team, and the Chevron GT3 / GT4 models on display in The Paddock at the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, taking place on 14-16 June.
