Polish starlet Bartosz Zmarzlik will have the chance to repeat his 2012 bronze medal heroics after being handed the Gorzow FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland wild card.
The Gorzow rider, who dons the No.16 race jacket at the Edward Jancarz Stadium on June 15, took the speedway world by storm, when he finished third behind Martin Vaculik and eventual world champion Chris Holder in the 2012 Gorzow SGP last June.
Zmarzlik, who also races for Swedish Elitserien champions Vetlanda, would love to repeat the 13-point haul he achieved last season.
And this isnt the 18-year-olds only chance of glory on the world stage. He is among the favourites to win the three-round FIM Speedway Under-21 World Championship Final, which gets underway at Polish venue Pila on June 29.
Zmarzlik is joined in the Gorzow SGP by club colleagues Adrian Cyfer and Lukasz Cyran, who will serve as track reserves. Cyfer lines up in the No.17 race jacket, while Cyran is No.18.
The referee at the Edward Jancarz Stadium is Jesper Steentoft from Denmark
