Facu Regalia GP3 Wednesday testing review

4th fastest at Hungaroring

The Argentine driver finished 4th yesterday during GP3 collective test in Hungary, being fastest ART Grand Prix driver.

In the morning he was 4th and then in the afternoon, under rainy conditions, Argentinas driver remained first until other drivers used slick tires when track got dryer.

The Argentine driver of ART Grand Prix was fighting for the lead in the morning, even when he just used a new set of tires. His best time of 1:33.027 was good enough to finish 4th and ahead of his teammates at ART Grand Prix. In the afternoon, team and driver were aiming for completing a race simulation, but it rained and later the track dried so this plan was aborted. Regalia led the times on wet conditions, but when other drivers used slick tires his time was obviously improved.

I feel happy, it was a good start. Our program today wasnt to do many laps, so to be 4th fastest completing seven laps isnt that bad. And I didnt use my second set of tires, he explained, also saying that in the afternoon our main target was a race simulation, but weather conditions were changeable and we needed to abort it. Tomorrow well keep working for Valencia, but there is room for improvement.
