The ART Grand Prix driver was the fastest man yesterday at Hungaroring with a best lap of 1:32.341, set in the morning, and also quickest in the cumulative ranking both days. Now hes focused on Valencia, the second venue for the GP3 championship.
Regalia was four tenths faster than anyone else on track and, for second successive day.
It was a very positive day. Today car balance was severely improved in comparison with Barcelona. My lap in the morning was almost perfect, and the performance of the car was excellent. Just a fact, my second fastest lap was very close to my fastest one, so it proves we managed to exploited our Pirelli tires and its a good thing
Rain, just like on Wednesday, hit the Hungaroring in the afternoon, and it changed our programme, because we were expecting to do two race simulations. But the track was almost flooded and to continue in that way was impossible. But Regalia focused on positive facts, such as now my car is more competitive than in Barcelona. So Im looking forward to approaching my second meeting in the GP3, taking place in Valencia. There my family, friends and fans will be backing me, so I want to have good results. Its going to be a long wait.
Circuit Ricardo Tormo (Spain) will be visited by GP3 next week, on 15-16 June.
