Round 2: Forrest Lodge, 8-9 June

Dan Lofthouse made it two wins out of two so far this season when he won the latest event at Forrest Lodge.

Lofthouse took the lead on the first of the weekends 12 runs, but his hopes for a trouble-free victory were thwarted when his car developed a fuelling issue partway through day two.

Frantic efforts were made in the service area to fix the problem; with his final run time deadline approaching, Lofthouse had to do back-to-back laps and started his last run with just four minutes to spare. A few more minutes and wed have had to take a maximum for the last run which wouldve cost us the win, he said.
