Round 6: Wyre Forrest, 9 June

Former champion and current championship leader Duncan Stephens won the Wyre Forrest car trial for the first timehis fourth win so far this year.

At lunchtime Stephens was tied with two other competitors in the class but thereafter managed to open up a lead of four points over Rupert North, who finished second overall. Ray Jacobs dropped back to third in class and fifth overall in significantly drier conditions.

As usual Nick Pollitt won the New Car Class from Adrian Read to finish third overall. Dave Oliver drove superbly to drop the fewest marks but a smaller class limited him to fourth overall.
