Round 5: Mourne Rally, 8 June

Darren Gass claimed a comfortable victory on the Mourne Rally ahead of current champion Derek McGarrity.

Gass was quickest on the majority of stages, beginning with the first loop of three on which he opened a 27.4-second lead. By the end of the second loop he had extended that advantage to over 50 seconds.

Gass was fastest on the two of the final three stages to win by over a minute from McGarrity. Paddy McVeigh completed the podium a further minute back.
