REIS Get Connected MSA Asphalt Rally Championship

Round 3: Jim Clark National Rally, 31 May-1 June

Euan Thorburn and co-driver Paul Beaton took their Ford Focus WRC to its second consecutive victory on the third round of the championship, the Jim Clark National Rally.

Second place secured the championship lead for Steve Simpson, joining his co-driver Patrick Walsh who has held top spot since the opening round in March. Simon Mauger and Brian Cammack took the final podium place.

Defending champion Damian Cole retired from second place when his Focus WRCs clutch failed, while John Stone ran as high as third before his Skoda Fabia WRC was retired during the final afternoon.
