No repeat of Satuday's success for Tutumlu

Isaac Tutumlu couldnt repeat his historical result achieved for Kurdistan in race two. After winning on Saturday at the wheel of the Autorlando Sport Porsche 997 GT3 R, teaming up with Dimitris Deverikos, Tutumlu couldnt even drive the car on Sunday, because Deverikos, 12th quickest in qualifying, was forced to retire due to engine problems.

A retirement is never a positive thing but, if it had to happen, this race was less troublesome because of two main reasons. First, we had a big handicap after winning on Saturday and, second, our position on the starting grid wasnt that good, so our chances for success were lower than usual, the driver of Barzani Racing Team said. Anyway Tutumlu focused on positive feelings, describing his win as incredible. I think I still dont realize how amazing that winning moment was. I feel so proud after winning for Kurdistan that international event. Im looking forward to our next commitment. There, at Silverstone, well have a new engine, and our time handicap will be shorter after retiring on Sunday. So there Ill try to go on those successful results, with victories always in mind. Were seven points behind the GTS leaders in the International GT Open, so our opportunities to take the lead in England will be pretty good.

The International GT Open, just before the summer break, will be at Silverstone on 13/14 July. This track venue is well-known by Tutumlu, after taking part there in the Porsche Supercup in recent seasons.Para ms informacin
