In the second race of the fourth GT Open round the Villorba Corse Ferrari 458 came in second again and won the Super GT class setting the fastest lap
Villorba Corse has conquered another stunning second place in Spain, where Jerez de La Frontera hosted the fourth round of the 2013 International GT Open. After yesterday's second place in race-1, Andrea Montermini and Luca Filippi performed a storming drive and brought their Ferrari 458 GT2 on the podium again.
The two Villorba aces have been stronger than a 45-second handicap to be paid during the driver change and thanks to their pole position, fastest lap and thrilling comeback clinched also a crucial win in the Super GT class. Second overall and first in Super GT mean also their eighth podium out of eight race in the season. An incredible series of results which allowed Villorba to increase its leadership in the championships standings.
The Italian team led by Raimondo Amadion will be back on track at Silverstone in mid-July.
