Round 4: Severn Valley National Rally, 15 June
Irelands Connor McCloskey won the Severn Valley Stages to reduce Luke Francis championship lead to nine points.
Alex Allingham and co-driver Chris Williams led early on from Sebastian Ling and Aled Rees. However Allingham lost time to a failed intercom on the second test, while McCloskey moved up to third.
McCloskey then went quickest on the final two stages to move ahead of both Allingham and Ling and claim victory. Allingham reported that he pushed hard on SS4 before easing off to pick up third place and Group N honours for near-showroom specification cars.
