Round 7: Wye Valley, 23 June

Duncan Stephens used his classic trials-prepared Dutton Melos to win the Wye Valley car trial at its new venue near Newent, Ross-on-Wye.

Early leader Dave Oliver led convincingly at lunch but a couple of mistakes and a clean afternoon by Stephens netted the latter his fifth win in six events aboard three different cars.

Nick Pollitt was back out in his Lupo to win the new car class from Andy Baverstock. Alastair Moffatt borrowed brother John's championship-winning Nova to win the front-wheel-drive class from Ray Jacobs.
