Round 2: Glan y Gors, 22-23 June

Oliver York continued his winning ways in the second round at Glan y Gors by taking a double victory.

York took the lead from polesitter Tom Wood at the start of Final 1, then resisted pressure from Tom Wood and Alex Quinn to win. Owen Byatt headed the second train over Lewis Thompson and William Pettitt.

After briefly falling to third in the second final, York leapfrogged Quinn and Byatt. Once back in front he maintained a tiny gap over Quinn to the flag. Byatt lost touch with this duo, needing to be aware of Thompson and Teddy Wilsons approach.
